Welcome to Modern Bereans

First off, we're glad you stopped by. This site exists for the sole purpose of providing resources to Christians and those seeking answers who may not yet have come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our sincere desire is that you would find these resources helpful in drawing you closer to the Lord.

The word "Bereans" is taken from the book of Acts, chapter 17, verse 11. The apostle Luke says of the Bereans after they were visited by Paul and Silas that, "These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so." They were commended for their fairness towards God's Word and their willingness to embrace it once it was found to be true. The Bereans of 2000 years ago are a good example for us today. We should all be "Modern Bereans."
